How to make a Tapping in SolidWorks?

sir, I want to how to make tap in SolidWorks.For example:- M6 Deep10.

Hi,

You can use the 'Hole wizard' feature for this. Under the 'Hole Type' menu, select 'Straight Tap'- you can then choose the size of hole e.g. M6 and depth of the thread/hole (the hole will be slightly deeper than the length of thread).
