igs conversion into cat part??
hello everybody ..im using catia v5 ..i have some of the files in igs format ..whenever i used to open igs file in catia the solid parts are exploded into sepearate surfaces ..kindly help me out ..and i aslo pls tell me how to edit it as an feature if it is possible ..thank you have a great day

igs and step mean there is no feature. all of them turned into dumy. you can not edit.
if they are seperated, just use "join" command.
