Installing two versions of SolidWorks from 1 disk

I recently bought SW 2012 and was told by SW that I can install 2011 from the same disk and serial number. Does anyone know how to do this? I have a client who needs work done in 11 and seem to be having issues.

It can be done but one has to transfer the license. At the same time, only one copy of SW can be active...
