Open ,dwg files with Mastercam
If I try to open .dwg files with Mastercam the name of the drawing changes to the file I'm opening but nothing shows up on the screen!

Use the File Merge/Pattern option in the File menu instead. You are actually "importing" and not technically opening a file. The file "Open" is for MasterCam native files.
