placing an assembled component into an assembly file
i downloaded an inventor assembly hinge component online and constrained it. However when i place it in i different assembly file it seem to be locked to whatever view its left in the hinge assembly file.
can anyone help solve this problem

Right click on the Sub Assy you have put into the Assy and make it FLEXIBLE.
thx...william. tried that before but it didnt work. but removed a couple of extra constrains and it worked perfectly.
