problem wile opening a solidworks file

Hi all,

I'm trying to open this file Engine_21083
with solidworks 2014 but I can't. Does anyone know why?

Here is the assembly file in STEP format. You should be able to open this in SW2014 but will not have the feature tree - only dumb solids with the geometry.

So far that I understand, these files were created in Solidworks 2016, at least so says the property. Hence, you will not be able to open it.
