How to avoid traces/grooves on surface created from patch structure after Auto Surface feature in Restyle.

The number of patches controls the number of curves and in turn controls the formation of the surfaces from the curves.
The curves by default have some granularity and character level which control the magnitude of the curves.
Higher the granularity, more curves will be formed....higher the character level,more will be the curvature required to be designated as a curve.
Also by default there is tangent symmetric continuity between the curves of the patch structure which gives the requisite smoothness to the surface....if you are not happy...try making the boundary constraint position continuous instead of tangent.
These attributes can be found by clicking the parameters and constraints tab during patch creation of the autosuface command.
