Save A Block
I made a block to have it insert into an AutoCAD drawing. I can't remember how to save the block so I can insert it into a different AutoCAD drawing in the future. Can someone point me in the right direction? I'm trying to save this kinematics symbol.
I see the block in the top of the file I attached but it only shows create, edit, edit attributes, insert. It doesn't show a button to save it as a block.

its been awhile since I last used ACAD and it would have around 2000 so I may be wrong. I think you type in the command wblock and select the block you wish to save and the reference point for the block and a dialog box will open up asking you where you want to save it. The other way would be to create the block in its own dwg file the 0,0 point will be the insert reference then when you wish to insert into a new dwg just use the insert block command.
