I've found the Penguin Renderer for Rhino to be a good option for non-realistic renderings. There are some good examples in the showcase of pencil sketches where the engine puts in extra marks to better simulate hand sketches. I guess you could further process the SolidWorks rendering to come up with a similar result?
Cool, Penguin Renderer looks really awesome! I pretty much only use SolidWorks though, is there any way to use Penguin with that? Or something similar?
Penguin is only for Rhino. You might be able to get a similar effect by using some Photoshop filters and skills to make the contour renderings from Photoview 360 look more like a pencil or pen based concept sketch.
