'Tutorial: How to insert images in Autodesk Inventor'
This is how you would insert images in to Auto desk Inventor. This will help with surface modelling and also working from a sketch to help you create the model you want from image references.

If you use Inventor 2014, a new tutorial for that would be great. I am so mad that they change the method of adding images in the new version. Am I correct in thinking you have to use the "insert objects" button and that it MUST be a BMP, and not JPG, or PNG image file?
