Why doesn't shell feature include the seed of a pattern?

If you ckech the file atached, you will see that shel featured only shelled the pattern, not the seed too, and I don't understand why. The question is what should I do? I tried to mark geometry pattern in the linear pattern that I've created, but with or without this option checked, the shell just wouldn't go through all of the surface.

problem solved. Apparently, solidworks has an issue about the thickness. I put a smaller thickness, and it worked. I also increased the thickness of the extrusion wich included the face on wich I wanted to shell, and then it worked by the initial thickness.
