Wind turbine Simulation Solidworks Flow Simulation

By Gordon Hills on 24 Feb 03:28 2 answers 3348 views 0 comments

I am using Solidworks Flow Simulation I am trying to do a flow simulation of a simple wind mill design to see what angular velocity it will have when it is put through a particular wind speed. The problem is that I have put in a value for the angular velocity of the rotating region, which is dependent on the torque of the system generated by the wiind speed, which is one of the things being calculated during the simulation. So basically my question is, how can I use the torque being calculated as a variable for the angular velocity of the rotating region? Perhaps there is another way to find out the angular velocity when put through a particular wind speed and please let me know if there is and how to do it.
Thanks
