Activating Solidworks Realview Graphics
Activation of Realview graphics through registry editing. Dude, if something goes wrong, I didn't tell you anything...
It's very simple! Just click on the Realview button in the program! Does not work? Hmmm... No luck. Then your way straight to the registry. Through the "Run" command, we write "regedit" and go to His Majesty the Registry.
In the window that opens, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > SOFTWARE > SolidWorks > your SolidWorks version > Performance > Graphics > Hardware.
If you need to find out what video card you have, then go to the "Current" key in it, look for the "Render" value and use the right mouse button to copy the name of your video card.
After that we go to the "Gl2Shaders" key. I have a card from Nvidia, and if you have it too, then do as I do. If you have Radeon, then look for the section you need as I indicated in the screenshot. In both cases, you must select the last sections. If you have some other video card, then fly to Mars and ask there.
Right click on the last section of your graphics card brand > next click "New" > "Key"
in the generated key, insert the name of your video card model
so far so good...
Then we go to the key of the latest video card model in the section. find the Workarounds value and copy the value name and value data.
We return to the video card key that you created, right-click "New" > "DWORD (32-bit) Value. In the created value, insert the value name and value data from the previous video card.
Close the Register, launch SolidWorks and try to enable the realview feature. Still not working? Hmmm... This happens due to updating the video card drivers. Then let's go to the next step!
Exit the Gl2Shaders key and this time select either the "NVIDIA Corporation" or "ATI Technologies Inc." key. For those who are from Mars, call home and go smoke on the street from here!
In these sections, we repeat everything that we did in the previous steps. We only take the value data from these sections, but not from "Gl2Shaders"!
After this witchcraft, everything worked for me!
