CATIA PAD POCKET command how to use
How to use a pad and pocket command in catia

Step 1:
Open Catia Software........
Go through the Part modeling ....extension is .catpart
start.......mechanical design........part design....
clock on sketch and select a plan for the the part drawing......
draw any shape with full constraining.......
Exit the sketch workbench.......
use a pad command to extend the thirst dimension of a geometry.
After the pad command completion.....select the sketch command to draw the another sketch, will use for pocket command.....
Use same sketch tool ans select the plan which you will to draw.
Make sure the sketch is fully constrained.
Exit the sketch workbench......used the pocket command to remove the material from the model.
Pad command is used for to add the material and pocket command is used for to remove the material. both optioned are available in sketch based features tab
