Define custom HOTKEYS in CATIA V5

Hello!

I have been using CATIA since 2009 and I use some custom hotkeys as presented within the video. I have started to use custom hotkeys after several year, when I got into SolidWorks and Fusion 360.

Looking forward to hear from you, feel free to add comments regarding your CATIA experience and your custom hotkeys!

1. Step 1: Access the Customize dialog box

   
   

   To change hotkeys in CATIA V5, you can follow these steps:

   1. Go to Tools > Customize.
   2. In the Customize dialog box, select the Commands tab.
   3. In the Filter box, type the name of the command whose hotkey you want to change.
   4. The command will appear in the list. Select it.
   5. Click Show Properties.
   6. In the Properties dialog box, select the Other tab.
   7. In the Press new shortcut key box, type the new hotkey combination.
   8. Click OK.
