How to create an ellipse without using Ellipse command in solidworks?

In this, I will show you how to draw ellipse in solidworks without ellipse command.

1. Step 1:

   Draw a circle of Diameter 100 mm on top plane & Extrude it with a certain dimension Lets say 200 mm.
   

   

2. Step 2:

   Draw a inclined profile on front sketch and extruded cut with a mid plane.
   see the picture.
   
   

   

3. Step 3:

   Take sketch on Inclined cut plane. And convert entities for outer edges, we get ellipse there.
   

   

4. Step 4:

   In the same sketch, click on make block and select converted entities. click ok. block will added to the tree.
   

   

5. Step 5:

   save the block with ' save Block" option.

6. Step 6:

   To use this saved block, select the plane to sketch where u require ellipse.
   with "Insert block" insert the lock there. if you want to edit you can edit it.
