Human Builder using CATIA V5R20


This tutorial is about how we can model a human which is useful for ergonomic analysis i.e. to know whether a product can be easily handled or not.

  1. Step 1:

    Open Ergonomic design and analysis -> Human Builder to start.

  2. Step 2:

    To begin, click Product1 (shown in the specification tree) -> manikin.

  3. Step 3:

    Now a window will open. Provide necessary details as per your requirement.

  4. Step 4:

    Click OK to insert manikin.

  5. Step 5:

    Now to edit the posture of manikin select manikin and click on Posture Editor

  6. Step 6:

    In Posture Editor, select the segment or part of body to edit.

  7. Step 7:

    Set the parameters as per requirement.

    Hello @BhaveshShiyani.
    First you have to set the posture of the Manikin using Posture Editor, and after that Use RULA Analysis to Simulate it. It will tell you that the posture is ergonomic or not.
