Stretch command in AutoCAD

A presentation of stretch command in AutoCAD.

1. Step 1:

   

   You can find Stretch command on the Modify panel.

   What I want to do now with this command is to stretch (extend) the right side of my drawing.You will see now how it works.

2. Step 2:

   

   I have activated the command and the first thing I did is I selected those parts of my model which I want to stretch,you can see on the picture what I selected.

   
   

3. Step 3:

   

   Now I need to specify the base point of my stretch,that would be the point from which I will move those selected lines on the right side.

   
   

4. Step 4:

   

   Now I can move selected lines to the right side as far as I want.

   

   And you see what happened,it is not the command you will use very often but it is good to know :)
