In this SolidWorks Video tutorial I will show you how to make parts of a wicket gate assembly of a turbine, I will also show you how to assemble the guide van assembly in solidworks. This assembly is only for practice in solidworks and it is quite similar to the real one, there is no application of this assembly in practical units because of various dimensions. Guide vans are ussually used in the kaplan/propeller turbines to guide water flow towards the turbine runner.
