We had a great time looking through the futuristic, retro, sleek, steampunk, and all kinds of sleighs that you created! It was tough to choose winners since we wanted Santa to have the best of each entry. These selections are based on ease of 3D printing along with the rest of the Requirements. It'll be great to see the winner on trees and mantles around the globe for the #3DPrintMyGift event. Such a happy holiday project for everyone, thanks for sharing in the fun!
This one grew on us with each closer look. It has such a clean design that would be easy to 3D print. It is good looking and fast sleigh. Even though it has been modernized, there is no mistaking that Santa would enjoy a ride in it!
This sleigh has an interesting design with an innovative modular concept. Everyone loved the reindeer runners, which were such a good touch. They used the simplicity of its ornament shape to its advantage. It would be really easy to 3D print and share.
What a whimsical design! We liked the skis on the feet and loved the story and motivation behind the design. Although it initially didn't seem to match the challenge specs, they did a good job translating the elephant to a Christmas feel and we appreciated the ingenuity.
A really cool design. One of the early, strong contenders and had a true Christmas sleigh feel. After a test print, it was shown to be a bit difficult design to print well, which led to the top three edging it out of the top slots.
We loved the whimsical and inventive antler decorations!
The first entry and one we loved through to the end.
Steering column and so much detail! We loved it but this would be hard to print. Either way, we want to recognize the effort and skill here.
Stylish and sporty are great descriptors. We think Santa would agree.
Really fun, almost Dr. Seuss looks. We liked that this entry found inspiration in our engine from last year, with the stripes. This would be speedy for sure.
Watch out, we think Santa will try to sneak this one home. Will he put reindeer or presents in the side car? Rudolph has high hopes!
