Base Maintenance Engineer Intern

An expansive degree of experience at the Base Maintenance center was accumulated over the course of the Internship by visiting and working with experienced technicians in workshops such as:
Cabin Workshop - Aircraft Safety Systems and General Repairs. The importance of different safety regulations imposed upon airlines by both the vendor and Gulf regulatory bodies was learned.
Hangars - Operational Planning and Management of fleet for different checks.
Composite Structures - Aircraft Tooling used for assembly and Defect Repairs.
NDT Workshop - Non destructive testing procedures and methods employed in testing wheels and brakes subject to high wear and tear.
Overall an Industrial feel was obtained as to how airline companies function at a professional level.
