Using PolyJet’s multimaterial capabilities for evaluating a design that simulates automotive applications with all of the material aspects. This pebble mimicked real world automotive design work.
Combining transparent, color and texture this winning design managed to capture the full look of automotive in the form of a pebble.
This design managed to create a beautiful and intricate pattern that shows full color capabilities combined with transparency, which strikes curiosity on how it was created.
We liked the gradient effect both in color and in the geometry, which shows the versatility and different possibilities of PolyJet.
At first impression, you might only see a mosquito, but having a deeper look reveals a very intricate mechanical mosquito.
We liked the industrial design adaption to an element of nature.
Challenging 3D printing technology to print such fine details reveals one of the strengths of PolyJet and the potential of adding details into your product design
This was one of the most beautiful pebble submissions, as titled the design managed to capture and incapsulate a small piece of nature.
There are so many details in that composition that just makes you want to look at it for hours, and the fact that they also showed up in print is the hallmark of a well-designed part.
We would like to mention this entry since it managed to surprise even the some of our PolyJet experts. This simple adaptation to the pebble shape managed to push our printing limits to the edge and created something fun, exciting and magical.
