M & K Engineering is a manufacturer of critical precision components for the aerospace and medical industries. In my role at this company, my responsibilities included: Programming, setup, operation and maintenance of CNC turning centers: twin turret & spindle, live tooling. Use of specialized precision gauges and quality assurance equipment: Sunnen gauges, Zeiss automated CMM.

UEC is a global manufacturer of gas leak detectors, pressure and temperature switches, and other safety transmitters and sensors. A shingo-prize winning company, UE delivers high quality and dependable products through superior lean manufacturing. Although I have been through several lean training sessions in my carreer, what I learned about the lean manufacturing philosophy while at UEC was better than any training course could provice. It has been an invaluable asset to my carreer. And something I strive to recreate everywhere I work. In my role a CNC operator at UEC, my responsibilities included: Setup & operation of CNC lathes and mills. Receivied thorough training on lean manufacturing philosophy. Partcitipated in several 5S and continuous improvment projects.
