Devin Sidell

As a Sr. Industrial Designer I have been constantly pushing the boundaries on innovative and intuitive designs while keeping in mind practicality and simplicity of manufacturing. I coordinate with sales and marketing teams to help make new product ideas become a reality with full understanding of the target consumer and the buyer's price points. I work with a heavy emphasis in organization, leading projects and understand timelines involved in getting a product to market. I am a Certified Solidworks Associate in Mechanical Design and show proficiency in different manufacturing techniques involved with most consumer products including personal heaters, fans, hydration and housewares. Within 9 years I have been awarded 7 design patents and had numerous other products brought to market. I have also spent an equal amount of time hand fabricating 3D printed SLS, SLA and FDM parts to create working prototypes as well as maintaining 3D Printers as a specialty. Kickstarter -

Noria was the personal project of Kurt Swanson while heading the product development company Likuma Labs. While working on client projects I was tasked with the Industrial Design of both the Noria window air conditioner and it's window adapter. The original working prototype was hand-built at our home office, Next Fab, and proved that similar BTU efficiency could be reached at half the size. We chose Kickstarter as our funding platform which led to a very successful campaign, raising over $2.2 Million.
