Hi everybody, please give me some advise of effectifly making a mirror of a part without generating a new part in an assamble. Except when the part has no an axis of symmetry.
For example if I try to make a mirror of a cube I exapt that I will have two simillar cubes in an assambly, but inventor make a new one.

I like Solidworks too much ))
If you want a mirrored part, to place in the assembly my advise is to use the derive function and in doing so mirror the geometry about the suitable workplane. The place the new component and use the mirror constraints to position the part. The new derived part is by default linked to the original so it will change to reflect changes, but of course this link be suppressed or even removed.
IPART for multiple instances:
To create a mirror in an iPart (In-context Part) within Autodesk Inventor, you need to access the "Mirror" command within the sketch environment, select the features or geometry you want to mirror, and then choose the appropriate mirror plane to reflect the geometry across; essentially, you're mirroring the sketch that will be used to create the iPart features across the chosen plane.

Not the best video, but it does cover iParts.
When you use the Assembly "Mirro Pattern" feature you tick on the dots and choose to Copy (green) or Reuse (yellow) the components. But remember the mirro pattern is static. This assembly mirror feature will be updated in the new Inventor 2026 version released soon to work much better.
