Step AP242

Dear all,

I want to make Step-file in Inventor by the STEP-AP242 norm (Managed model based 3D engineering). So with measurements attached to it.

Do I need to have the newest version for this case? I have now Inventor 2017.

@Michael, that is export. But how do you get the measurements with it?

Not sure about getting GD&T from the Step to import. That would be a nice trick. But when you Send a 3d pdf from Annotation tool, you can include the 242 step.

I've updated my Inventor 2017 to 2019 and it is possible now!

In 2019 you have an "annotate" tab what you don't have in Inventor 2017.

Now I can save this as an Step AP242 file which normally gets the measurements with him.
