Well explained, but what I don't like is that example that you show through tutorial is not practical. We made detailed thread in several cases only:

• for 3D print
• in special thread cases for thread cutting tool design
• for non-linear thread analysis we need detailed thread geometry for mesh

In common practice made of detailed thread geometry is unnecessary. For example, in large progressive or transfer die tool design you need to operate with large base plates with 100+ holes with thread on each. Imagine this model with detailed threads geometry: your frame rate in CATIA will drop on 0fps.

What we do:

• ignore these minor chlashes or set on Irrelevant.

• Some companies use custom screws catalogs or macros for generate simplified screws 3D models like on example below.

OK, I can only show the example of process, you have to apply on your own. I decided to show those example for beginners or others to understand clearly. Anyway thanks for the information. But that tutorial is for other forms like making hole for complex shapes, for die cast (instance only) etc.,
