Hello!!
I´m new in this world, and I need help pls. I have a part that is saved as an assembly and I don't have the drawing files and what I need is access to those drawings. The problem is that when I use FeatureWorks it says error FeatureWorks is Overlapping objects what do I do in this case?
FeatureWorks only works on single objects, so I think this is why the error message is shown.
It sounds like you have an assembly that was converted from another source, i.e. a step file. I'm afraid there's only one solution: rebuilding it from scratch. At least you'll be able to measure the dimensions from the original.
If some has an alternative solution, I'd be interested too.
Thanks for the help, I figured out why it was giving an error. The problem is that the part I need to rebuild has several pieces fitted together and I don't know how to separate them.
What is this i.e. file?
I'm sorry, this should be read as:
i.e. = in example
I'm afraid not.
As I said, it looks like it is originated from another source (perhaps a step file) and consisting of more that one part as well, thus you can only rebuild it from scratch, in where you can measure the dimensions from the original file and apply these to your new design

Plenty of draftsmen over there, looking for a challenge in where they can also earn some money.
