Graduate Mechanical Engineer
Veolia ANZ
•
June 2023 - present
Currently, I am a Cadet Engineer and will begin the Graduate Program in January 2024. I have been working with the Water Department, providing operational support, including facilitating and overseeing O&M sites. The main schemes I have been involved in are the Western Corridor and Bamaga WTP.
The job requires very limited CAD work; however, the team appreciates that I can model up designs for fabrication and/or concept.

Shit but it could prove useful in the future. My favorite subjects were business law and ethics, and managing operations (because it was only math). My capstone project focused on park management for the Brisbane City Council.

January 2017 - January 2023
I enjoyed studying Mechanical Engineering at QUT. My favorite subjects were thermodynamics, advanced thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and fluid mechanics. My thesis focused on Aerodynamic Cornering Simulations for QUT's Motorsport Vehicle, the EV4. The project was challenging and had several limitations, meaning I could not conclude numerical results with absolute certainty.
