MECAL High Tech Systems
•
January 2020 - present
• Project Engineer –Designed MSF models for future and current projects. This included working closely with the customer and engineering team to determine all the requirements for the MSF based on the tool it would support. Designed to high tolerances. Created models and assemblies in PTC Creo, along with detailed drawings.
• Lead USA Technician – Coordinated and conducted installations of MSFs in semiconductor cleanroom fabs in the US, Europe, and South Korea. Used stiffness and vibration measuring equipment to ensure installed MSF is within spec.
Quality Control Lead / Design Engineer
Tiburon Associates
•
July 2017 - July 2020
Quality Control Lead – As Lead of Quality Control for Tiburon Associates (a Department of Defense contractor providing manufacturing, engineering, and research & development in the field of Patriot Missile support equipment), duties included inspecting incoming components against drawing GDT (geometric dimension & tolerance). This spanned everything from visual weld inspection to continuity testing of cable harnesses. Development of processes was made to expedite activities and improve fault detection.
Design Engineer – Modeled 3D components from drawings that would then be sent to be manufactured. Designed 3D models as solutions to needs in the company and created detailed load plans and QC diagrams for incoming components. Worked on various stages of DoD Contract prototypes of fuel tanks including design, development, CAD modeling, and quality control via first article inspection.
