ALIAS OR RHINO ??
I currently use Solidworks, but it is really not suited for automotive design. Refinement is very limited and is hard to edit. (And occasional jewellery)
Which are the advantages of these 2?
Id appreciate your advice.

Use Rhino plus the T-Spline plugin from Autodesk, I think in automotive design T-Spline can become your best friend ;) Never made more beautiful organic faces!
Rhino 6 is very simple and easy to learn as compared to Alias, if you want to give shape to your idea just go with Rhino 6 and if you want to give your idea a physical shape then go with Alias.
Alias is the better (and more expensive) tool if you want to achieve the quality of surface (A-class surface) that you find in the automotive world. However, Rhino is a great value-for-money product and is fine if you're happy with less control over the surface quality. If you want to learn Autodesk Alias to an automotive industry standard then try www.learnsurfacing.com. I can help you get the skills you need quickly.
