Ansys Workbench Topology Optimization
Hello.
I have used Ansys Workbench for Topology Optimization. During the simulation of topology optimization, this tool removes the extra material to make component lightweight. But where the stresses are high, it does not add the material. So, do you know the other topology optimization tools do the same simulation process i.e only remove the material or they also add material?

Topology Optimization will never add material. Before doing optimization you should know how it works. First wherever the stress are low material is removed so that stiffness is reduced but it cannot add material.
Also a point to remember, always give more flexibility (either in geometry, boundary condition, constrains etc) for the ansys to optimize your model, so that you can opt the best result, else you would end up in high stresses.
