Car Windshield Surfaces developable

So are car windshield manufactured as single curvature surfaces. I read somewhere that they are, because double curved glass has a lens effect. It seems that a lot of the models out there have double curvature in the glass. Just curious as I am working on my own car model. Thanks

it could be both but laminated double curved windshields are the most popular in modern cars.

Thanks that is what I thought. Just wanted to confirm it with someone who has more experience than I. My searches on the internet didn't come up with anything.

(I ask you guys confirm of this)
I think the lens effect or some deformation can be if the internal glass curvature is different than external one or if we find sudden change of glass curvature... isnt it?
