chain assembly
How do you assemble a sequence of chain links to a specific shape or loop. Now I did something similar in 3d max for an animation where I calculated the length of the curves mated the chain links together then and did a follow link for the chain to follow the path. How can this be done in solidworks?

Make a one assembly with pairs of chain links. After that make a final assy using previously generated assy. Then free assys going in property of them from rigid to flexible. And you see what mathematic is built in SW.
