By Sanguine Shukls on 11 Dec 10:33 3 answers 1 comment

I am trying to save a custom profile in the designated folder. While using this profile in Structural Member feature, error occurs as "Library Feature Empty". Can any one help.

Thank You.

To creat a Profile for Structural Member, you must first sketch the profile you want. Then you must save as a Lib Feat Part (*.sldlfp). Make sure you saved it in C:\Program Files\SOLIDWORKS Corp\SOLIDWORKS\lang\english\weldment profiles, then place it either ansi inch or iso, then make a folder and place that Profile you created in it. You now should be able to make a line, select Structural member features in the weldment tab and select your profile
