How can I write scripts for automating solidworks and Ansys Workbench?

I want use both applications with one scripts file.

SWorks seems very VBA centric. One of its downsides IMO. If it were more Python friendly, that would certainly make this a lot easier. IMO, the two (SWorks and Ansys) don't play well together.
