How do i input text on my 3D Model In Catia V5

Hi, I am wondering how i can input text on my 3D Model in Catia V5. I am trying to input my initials on my car.

You have to use file conversion. First open a drawign file in catia. Create text with font arial true type. Then save it as a .dwg

Then open this dwg file in catia. Then select text and copy it.

Then go part design create sketch and paste text.

Yeah there is another fonts also. But not all of them. If font has thinkness, it will work.

You can trial for free TYPE3-CAA.

TYPE3-CAA has all the typographical tools needed and is fully integrated in CATIA CAA V5 as well as in 3DE.

using the drawing (dxf) method results in a bunch of line segments.
