How to Pick up an object in solid works
Dear guys i have a different type of problem...I want to pick up an object and drop it..I don't know how to give the mate Please help..I am up loading the file herewith

If all you need to do is animate something moving upwards then falling, I would use a motor in the Motion Study or Animation section, and then control the motion of the motor with segments. Acceleration due to gravity will be a quadratic segment, while moving something upward might be linear.
