how to set many gyroids in a raw/array without geting big files
I have a gyroid that i found here on GrabAcad, und put it in a row.
But then, In Solidworks or Inventor when i export the Files als STL-File i get very big files, so that no 3D-Printer-Software can read the file.
10x10 Gyroids have about 2.5 GB
10x10x10 GYroids have about 26 GB
Is there a possibility how to reduce the file size and still have a big gyroid cube ?
Thanks

That is a sick piece of geometry!
When you export it as .STL, click into "options" and adjust the resolution to be more coarse. It can have a big effect, but you'll have to be ok with bigger triangle facets in the model and real life part. It may or may not get you where you need to go, but that's what I'd try first. You can open the STL file and get a look at the faceting to see if it's acceptable.
Also, know that the larger of a "pattern" you create in solidworks, the more taxing it will be on system resources, and will become unworkable at some point. Not sure where that is.
