I'm trying, for the first time, to make a basic fluid simulation regarding an open water tank and an outlet pipe.
The problem statement can be written as follows: “what is the maximum inlet water flow rate with the existing outlet section and within the model path, with an open discharge.”
I setup the scene with gravity set to Y (open tank, so no other pressure inside the tank, just the gravity). That's the only parameters know in this case.
I can't setup a boundary for the inlet because that's what I'm looking for. Should I do it by increment, starting with a inlet mass of 0.1kg/s, and increasing to 0.15/0.20/0.25/0.30.... but can take forever.
Can SW flow simulation do increment by itself and found the limit?
I setup the outlet boundary condition to Atmospheric pressure at 101 kPa to simulate an open pipe
