Importing 3D CAD Files into Sketchup Pro 2018

I am not sure how to import the CAD files I downloaded from this site into my Sketchup Pro 2018 application. Does anyone know how to do this?

What formats will sketchup pro import?
I've only used it a few times, but I think I had to try and feed it either STL, or OBJ files.
I doubt that sketchup will import native CAD models from software like SolidWorks, Pro-E, Catia, or others.
Maybe it would read "dumb models" like iges, step, or parasolid?

Check the sketchup documentation, or see what file formats are available from a file open, or file import option.

if u use other sketchup same can link models how in 2015 - 2018

u can get add in autocad link models in sketchup

Before you import a CAD file into SketchUp Pro, it’s helpful to know what CAD elements SketchUp Pro can and can’t import. . If an element isn’t supported, SketchUp Pro simply ignores it when you import the CAD file.

may be dwg, dxf or eps can be imported from my experience
