Is it possible to convert SOLID WORKS file to dwg?

By udi w on 22 Mar 00:43 3 answers 2 comments

I am now trying to open a Solid works model file (attached) in an old version (2003) of AutoCAD - dwg format. Can anyone please advise/ assist me if it is possible to do so.
Many thanks in advanced,

YES....Set your model in the required orientation and just save as .dwg (dxf)
now you can open it in Acad.....

Yes. Save your model in .iges or .step and then open autocad -> go to "import" and select the file .step or .iges . When the importation process is finished the draw will set up in the autocad screen. Save it in .dwg and you get it!
