Is there a way to import model from one software to another?
I made a part in SolidWorks a while back and now want to make that same part in Creo. Instead of redoing the part, is there a way to import the SolidWorks part and make it a Creo part?

Not with an editable feature tree. If it is a simple part, sometimes there are ways to automatically rebuild a feature tree (Feature Recognition in SOLIDWORKS). But it "works" best on rather simple parts. The kind of parts that would be easy to manually rebuild.
If you just want to import a "dumb" (featureless model) try exporting/importing a Step file.
open the solidworks part in creo and then click "save as" and save new creo file.
the saved part will be of creo
