Is there any RAY TRACING or RAY INTERSECTION command used in solidworks??
want to intersect shifted profiles of gear for tracing the final profile of forming tool profile

yes. If you use PhotoView 360 add-in. You will need to enable in the add-ons menu. http://help.solidworks.com/2013/English/SolidWorks/sldworks/c_photoview_360.htm
