Ray Tracing Rendering In Autodesk Inventor 2016
Why do I want to do rendering with realistic ray tracing view when rendering ray tracing is disabled?
How to handle it ?

From the ray tracing programs I've seen, they often require a graphics card with CUDA Core support. My best guess is that your graphics card may not be supported, or provide the features this software needs
If that is the issue, then a new graphics card could be installed. Or, you might look into a different rendering engine. One that supports the existing graphics card.
That desk/chair scene looks good. I hope you'll post it to the site when finished.
