Lofting question?

first time I have posted here. I am a novice with Solidworks. I need to make an intake manifold for an engine I am building. The carburetor mounting plate and head mounting plates are not to complicated. But I am struggling with the intake ports. I am using solidworks 2015.

I am able to get pretty close, but the offset is not correct. when I try to change the offset it distorts the model. I have watched a few you tubes on lofting but not able to get it resolved.

Have attached a few screen shots. Any help would be appreciated.

Try this. Don't have SW2015 so here is a step file with some photos.

Hi J. Riend,
Thanks for your suggestions. Not sure I was able to use them exactly the way you suggested but it got me pointed in the right direction and over the hump.

I had been trying to use centerline parameters in lofting based on one of the YouTube videos I was watching, which did not work. You pointed me towards the start/end constraints which made all the difference.

I also redraw the part with more planes similar to your layout which helped a lot.

Still have a ways to go but at least I'm not stuck thanks to your suggestions.
