Need help in creating simple hole in assembly environment.
I want to create a hole in to adjacent components with simple hole from assembly feature. Here are the some issue I am facing.
- in normal condition (in the absence of propagate through parts) the hole appears in both components in assembly mode. But when I open individual parts file, it does not contain any hole in either of parts.
-If I check mark the "propagate through parts", the hole completely disappears from the assembly mode ,which was present in the earlier case.
I don't know whether am I missing something or is this the limitation of the feature. I can modeled the problem with other feature like hole series but I want do it with simple hole feature.

1st case: That's what's supposed to happen...
Features made in assemblies don't - by default - appear in parts.
2nd case: It shouldn't be hidden from the assembly, but should be shown in both the assembly and the parts, but uneditable in the parts.
Attach the files so we can check them for you, or at least add screenshots.
