Neeed help converting .sldprt file into .ipt file
One of my customers has sent me SolidWrks file in .sldprt file format. I do not know which version of solidworks was used.
Whenever I used Autodeskinventor 2013 to open the file it generates report error while rying to convert the file and I am unable to open this file.
I would really appreciate if somebody could convert this file.

it may be that the solidworks file is too new. Inventor 2013 can open only SW2012 or older. I will try tonight to open it in Inv2015 (I don't have solidworks) and exporting to igs/step etc.
no success - it failed on 2015 too. maybe you can ask the customer to create an iges or step file, and zip it before sending it to you. that should work 100%
