I am thinking of assembling a PC with AMD A10-7850K, Asus A88x-Pro, Firepro V3900.
I will be using solidworks, inventor, autocad, plant 3d. There are chances that i use 2 applications at a time.
Will my configuration do well? i will use the PC at home.
I’m more of an Intel fan for a designing PC. What you have listed looks good. The video card will work very nicely with Solid Works. As for your boot drive use a 500mb SSD and at least 16Gb RAM.
Thanks for the reply.
What would you suggest in intel to match the configuration i have listed?
You have a little powerhouse there. My budget is limited to under 1000 dollars for now.
Well I have a Intel Core i7-3820. My MSI board is loaded with 32gig Ram, but can handle up to 128gig. I do medium size assemblies (200-500 components). The processor really works well when I do analysis and renderings. But I still need a SSD hard drive to be able to use the full power of the CPU. With the fast pace of technology, it is hard to buy something that will last, but always try to buy what you need now with the possibility to upgrade instead of replacingv
