Solidworks different textures for same model

I have created an assembly with where I have 2 of the same models in the assembly. how do I render the scene with both models having different textures. example: i want the one to have wood texture and the other one painted texture. each time i change the texture both changes, can in unlink the 2 models so that i can change texture independantly.

You need to create 2 configurations for your part with a different finish on each.
Select the required configuration in the assembly.

A quicker way is to simply save out different display states. Configurations are primarily for modelling changes, display states are effectively configurations for your appearances.
